2013 E92 M3 w/ Dual Clutch - not that much fun of a car! no love.
I bought this car about 5 months ago and pretty much stuck it into storage for winter...... got it out a few days ago... drove it to work the last couple days.... not that much fun... possibly due to it being paddle shift vs clutch? I am not digging it.
I had hear nothing but good things about M3's and a quick test drive doesn't solidify anything.... it looks nice, is quick and sounds nice but I think I have more fun driving an RX8 than I do with the M3... anyone else love or not love their E9X M3? If so, stick or dual clutch? etc... |
It's not exactly the same but i had a 06 M3 w/comp pckge SMG and feel the same way. It looks nice, sounds good, fast but it just didn't give me the same feeling i get when i drive the s2k. Finally ended up selling it after 2 1/2yrs.

good to hear I am not the only one... the stats on my car are pretty good... it tops out at 167 (I have a pic of my speedometer.. ahaha), 0-100 in about 10 seconds.... exhaust sounds awesome..... but it is fairly heavy and basically auto tranny = buzzkill.

Same here. When I Bought my 1M I drove around a M3 for a month. Didn't like it at all. Felt too heavy. Auto was boring. Just felt like a nice 3 series

I am not sure who the ideal M3 owner is but it is not me. I hadn't owned any decent German cars until this car... I really thought I was gonna love it.... but... I am going to sell it instead. |
