^^Not really an apples to apples comparison though. The PDK gives that car tremendous straight line acceleration from a dig, but if you spec it out with a manual transmission its not outrunning the GS. And even with the PDK, from a roll the 911 isn't gonna pull on the Corvette.

Yes it will, 120.5 vs 116.1 trap. PDK doesn't gain 4.5 mph over the 7MT, maybe 2-3 mph max. It does help the E.T. though but I think at worst a 7MT C2S will still run a 12 flat or 12.2. @ 118.

I love how it handles better

^^Maybe Cosmo. Then again, the PDK Boxster S is 4 mph faster in the 1/4 mile than the 6 speed model. I could definitely see that disparity carrying over to the 911.

Even at 4 mph it's 116.5 vs 116.1. 911's are not supposed to be as fast/faster than vettes in a straight line

12~14% off MSRP makes things even sweeter for GS.

The Corvette has more grip due to its Sport Cup 2 tires. The Pzeros that the Porsche is equipped with are not even in the same league, grip wise. Equip both cars with the same tires (Cup 2s are available in 911 sizes) and handling numbers would probably equalize, if not fall in favor of the Porsche.

I disagree. The Porsche isn't optimized for those tires so chances are, it wouldn't be as effective with them. You still have to move around a car with a heavy rear bias, which is far less benign than the front-engined Vette.

The price is great for the GS. But is this one of those cases where you get what you pay for?

Sticker tires won't upset the balance, they will give the car more overall grip on both ends. Not saying it will make it handle better than the vette but the comparison for cup 2's vs P zeroes is not apples to apples.
