Default $25k daily driver choice?

1. 2008 Acura TSX, auto, 7000 miles, corporate lease, acura CPO, $24999

2. 2005 BMW 330i performance pkg, 6sp manual, 23,000 miles, 1 owner, $24999

yea apples vs oranges.. right? lol
obviously tsx is newer, longer warranty (but i dont keep cars for more than 2 yrs), maybe better gas mileage, more reliable? 1 set of oem wheels fine

330: 6sp stick, more fun to drive, rwd, but need snow tires, warranty expires next yr

assuming i wont be doing any autox or track time next yr, which is a better DD choice? i might add that MI roads really stink..

would you consider the 04 GTO? It's quite a bargain with great performance (and the interior is one of thebest domestic interiors I've seen)

If not, I'd go with the bmw. RWD>FWD, plus it sounds like more of a fun car. Just watch out for maintenance costs

You already listed their positives and negatives, it just depends which you prefer or can live with. For the same total cost, 330i in a heart beat. TSX isn't remotely in the same league driving dynamics wise or character wise.

Just the fwd or rwd should solve it, or just the auto vs 6spd, seriously.

When you say you want a DD people assume you have a weekend fun car, is this true?

I'd go with the 330 if it were me.

Unless you can work on the Bimmer yourself, I would stay with the Honda product.

I learned my lesson on BMWs out of warranty and how expensive maintenance can become if your luck goes bad with the reliability.

With the warranty running out next year, I would go with the Acura.

If you don't keep cars longer than 2 years, get the Bimmer. But if you are like me and run them into the ground ( 2 cars in 13 years of driving) get the TSX.
