A mousetrap would be an improvement over the stock setup...

For Corvette Z06 money, I'm sure you'll be able to!

Better batteries, better breathing, better exhaust - its basically completely reengineered for efficiency, makes me wonder what the Honda engineers were doing...

I'm so frustrated...
I have owned a '87 CRX-Si
I still own my '90 CRX-Si
I love the body of the CR-Z
I despise the gutless crap under the hood of the CR-Z
I want a CR-Z in the worst way
I could not live with the gutless crap under the hood

Wake the hell up Honda
The CR-Z is real popular at SEMA this year, that says the body is loved, the drivetrain is hated. You are selling less than 1,500 units per month, imagine what you could do th the sales volume if you actually put an engine in the thing

It came to me,

Why aren't more cars using hybrid FI setups?

It would seem to me the instant-power of an electric engine, mated with a post boost gas engine could be a real Jekyl & Hyde eco/performance setup. I'd actually love to try that powerplant in a RWD config like the S
