Default 80mpg & 400hp Fox Body Mustang

Although I always felt that Engines have way more potential for fuel economy since modern day engines only operate at ~15% efficiency I somehow doubt this guy has made such a breakthrough.

Well, the X-Prize is the real deal, but his claims are just that until proven in the competition. That said, 38% is not outside the realm of feasibility for ICE's...

His statement is also wrong. Modern gasoline engines are ~28%
