the evo is more than you guys can think. and i saw one of the moderators (i'm not gonna name) saying saying to quit the s2k and evo battle? then sh!t, do something about it!!! remove the d@mn front page. i'm always cool with s2k owners in our area and i'm an evo owner, i got the same name at evom.net. my boys tell me that if i want to know about our cars more (s2k) go to our forums at s2ki.com and they'll give you good info about our cars. and guess what i found in your front page?! s2k owner bashin' , talkin' smack about our cars! it was my first time to be in your site and i was expecting a warm welcome. well i guess it was to warm that pissed me off. i didn't even bother lookin at the other sections of the site because of the front page.

to be honest, you'll find allot more mellow people on this site than most. The evo is a Beast, no question, but the same way there are hardcore mitsu guys, there are hardcore Honda guys too, life is not that serious, and there is allot more to it than cars. We all love them, so lets all lighten up. THEY ARE JUST CARS.

You and the crew are welcome here anytime imo. We all can have allot of fun at track events/shows etc, just try and keep it positive please. BTW you would have loved the site when we had our BABE'S section, but DUDE RICK posted some nudies and got it banned

I didn't immediately email him and tell him a million ways that was impossible and question his character or intelligence...

People need to learn to take things a lot less seriously

 

Hey noobie.. I have been here for a long time and have only seen the front page a handful of times. Chill out. This subject has been beaten to death and EVERYONE is sick of seeing it.... LET IT DIE.

 

Ignore the front page article. It's a childish, trash-talkin' piece that doesn't reflect the majority of S2000 owners.

(This won't die until the article is remoed, is my guess. We'll continue to see these sorts of posts here - it's not like anybody coming to the site fresh has any idea whether or how it's been discussed before.)

 

It probably reflects more of the majority of S2000 owners than you think. I do think that if any one of these Evo fanbois would care to write something (in English) that offers an actual accounting of why an Evo is better than an S2000 in 500 words or less then I would be happy to post it next to the other article. The problem is you say "I get laid more" or other juvenile nonsense (not an exclusive Evo fanboi quality I might add).

Being able to compose a short English essay or opinion might actually get it published. Since most are incapable it won't be and you can continue to rant in broken chinglish yo on message forums about what those who can write wrote. Literacy is a useful life skill.

 

It's not more than we think. We know what it is, and we all respect it for the amazing vehicle that it is. The article was simply summing up that the Evo was a beefed up version of an already exisiting econo box, where the S2000 was built from the ground up by the F1 team. That article was also written by one person, not all of the members here. I'm sure some of the members here think the S2000 is a far greater car, and some may think that the Evo is a greater car. I've been to Evom.net many times and there is a fair amount of S2000 bashing there. If you have an issue with the article, take it up with the author. This community is filled with great people who are very open to all types of vehicles. We're not picking on the Evo, it is an amazing car. In fact, you'll find that many S2000 owners are currently, have been, or will be Evo owners at some point. They are extremely different cars, we should enjoy them for what they are.

Can't we all just get along???
