Sweet bike

I don't see any rear turn signals on that thing either. Are they tucked up under the fender with that aftermarket brake light kit? Looks nice but prolly illegal

In any case, those rear-fender eliminator kits usually provide a different mounting point for the rear plate. If you don't have something like that, check out a local bike shop for one of those kits and maybe you can cobble something together from that.

Nice looking bike! Hmmm, looks like it just came off the track...ex-race bike?

Lots of squids mount the plate right in front of the rear shock, while is usually not strictly legal. Cops' tolerance for this location varies, so do that at your own risk.

Ludedude, a fender eliminator kit would only work w/ the stock tail section...looks like some custom fabrication may be needed, unless you want to go back to a stock tail section.

Get a sheet of 1/8" aluminum and make your own license plate bracket. I've done it several times for my Ducati Monster and it wasn't that hard.

If any of you are interested, I put together a web page showing what I went throught the last time I did it. (I still have the prototype on there, haven't gotten around to making the final version yet. )

I went to Pep Boys and bought a license plate bracket. Then a little bending, a little drilling, and some satin black paint and BAAM fender eliminator kit for $3.98.

Chris, yep you're right about the elminator kits probably needing a stock tail but you never know

definition of squid from a sportbike website:

a squid is anyone on a bike who acts in such a way to endanger the lives and/or safety of other(uninvolved) people, with no respect for the law, or the possible consequences of his actions. Some examples of this behavior would be wheelies/stoppies/excessive speed in traffic or on busy streets, through school zones or small residential streets where kids are playing, etc.

but everyone has their own definition..... like some will say guys who don't ride with gear....just ride with shorts and a t-shirt..... no jacket, leather, gloves, boots.... guys who ride with chicken strips (more usage in the center of tire rather than the edge; no cornering skills), guys who just use their bike to hang out and show off rather than ride it in the canyons...... everyone has their definition of squid......but those are the majority of definitions out there i guess

btw, nice bike!
