edmunds says that only europe will get special LED headlights while the US will not.

Audi is becoming the worst with holding back the goodies. Like the flat bottom steering wheel on the RS4, supposedly because it doesn't conform to Federal regs, but then why does the Gallardo and the friggen GTI have 'em?

i think we all agree on that; but I wonder why they aren't making it to the US right now-- Typically, the EU safety standards (particularly around lighting) are more strict than they are in the US.

Sorry, I thought the LEDs were the best part of the showcar.

That may sound stupid, but they just grab me.

If they don't send us the LEDs they are taking away part of the essence of the car.

it looks like only part of the production car is LED, maybe they are the daytime running lights.

It's funny how the smallest, most insignificant (e.g., LED vs HID) difference between RoW and US market vehicles will become a focal point...
