Yeah, they wouldn't be my choice either. I threw the question out because I am toying with the remote possibility of buying my brother a car for graduation, and that's about all I can shell out. May or may not happen, but I think he'll be happy with wheels any way you look at it.

i was looking into the mitsu eclipse gsx. i think the talons are cheaper than the eclipses. i was wondering what DSM meant too... thanks

heh, well its always a running joke that things always break and whatnot, but as long as everything is well-maintained, theres never really any real big problems.

they're really very easy to work on though. everything is easilly accessable, simple to do, and they take to mods like crazy.

oh, and btw, the talon/eclipse/laser are all the same car basically. their only differences are body pannels, badging, and maybe a few interior options/accessories. (same deal with the mitsu 3000GT and dodge stealth).
