I'm sorry if you guys have already seen it, I don't do much searching in the bike forums (due to me not owning one) but I thought I'd share this... Shows anything can happen

i've seen that...so true it's the other guy you have to watch for!!!
I grew up in West Virginia which is deer heaven...on my bikes I've only hit a bird once and I ran over a dead groundhog (without wrecking thankfully)...but I smashed a deer in a Mustang when I was 16 and then two years ago I was running backroads around midnight in the summer...I was in a superfast Talon and my buddy was chasing in a GTI...we were probably around 80 mph and all of sudden both of my buddies headlights went out...we were like...oh man what happened...assuming the worst..we stopped, turned around, and found him pulled over, front end smashed, and deer blood everywhere..it was crazy...moral of the story...go hunt every year! hahah just kidding..thanks for reading my story!

Deer will get you.. be very wary in the first couple months of winter at dusk, this is when they move most. Worst I hit was an armidillo's tail as it ran accross the road. I was in mid turn leaning over a lot, I was lucky.
