Thats a sweet looking bike. Probably the best since the 916.

As for maintenance costs last I remembered the duc needed valve adjustments every 3k or so. Unlike the Yamaha at 20k and others. Maybe they charge less but it needs more attention than any jap inline 4. Of course with this new bike that all might be different. I consider the duc the Ferrari of motorcycles. A work of art in motion.

They should of made the frame and wheels gold to match the forks then it would be off the hook as we say here in the hood.

I'd like to see a blacked out frame and motor / red body...

About the "Tricolore" - "...a power-increasing 102 dB Termignoni racing muffler..." I thought manufacturers always had to put quiet mufflers on so they could pass any noise ordinances?

they have reduced the cost of maintenance. the valves being re set is why the cost is so high. because they use a desmodromic system for the valves. its heritage. they will never and should never change that. oh and yeah they have been very reliable for awhile now. saying they cost to much or are unreliable is just a way for some asian super bike owners to justify why they bought their cookie cutter bike.

I like how they went back to that dual under tail setup and the single sided swingarm, also like the headlights. It's very muck like the 748, 996, 998 Tamburini bikes. I loved my 748L and love the way this looks. That said, I put miles on my bike and it got real expensive doing belts and stuff all the time. Next ride is gonna be a Triumph 675.

That picture doesn't seem to do the colour justice.

I normally like black bikes, but actually prefer this in red.

The straight side on picture doesn't show off the lines at all
