BMW 128i or Acura ILX?
For around $31k, which "entry-level luxury car" do you choose?

I may hate the way the BMW looks, but no way I would pick a gussied up FWD Civic over a RWD BMW.
|
Looks: ILX > 128
Gas mileage: ILX > 128 Everything else: 128 > ILX |
You can get a new ILX for 26k. the 128i starts at 31k. If its gonna be a daily driver... ILX.
|
cant you get a tsx for $32k?
|
128i beats out the ILX in ever way for me
|
I would go GTI or TSX before either... although the BMW can be offered in a vert

Id take the ilx, itd be a daily an it gives me the most value. Just becase theres a roundel on the bonnet dosnt mean its gonna be more exciting. So what if is rwd if its underpowered and has an open diff? Not the best looker, wont impress ayone, not exactly cheap, i just dont see whats the point of this car. The 135i i get, the 128i i dont. And as far as the ilx oes, consdering ab civic ex nowadays will set you back 20k, 22 or so for the civic exl with nav, the ilx just offers a bit nicer stuff.
But in all honesty id take neither, i feel both will be regretted after the new car smells go away and the payments keep coming. |
