Default GM Pick-up question

I just noticed a quick flutter or vibration in the gas guage. In looking at some Chevy forums, they say is it a bad ground connection. However, no one says where.

Does anyone have experiance with this?

Thanks.

By the way it is a 1999 GMC 2500. 454 Vortec.

I don't think you'll find many GMC truck aficionados here...

I've got a 2003 2500hd diesel. I recently got a notice of a TSB that had something to do with the gauge cluster. I don't know if it goes back to 99 or not but it might be worth talking to the local service dept.
