But I won't lie, holy hell that's hot. Although I think the 20's is an inch overkill.

 

I'm not gonna lie, the Sonata is probably the best-looking family sedan under $30K at the moment; followed by the Mazda something.

That will likely be my next family car. 270+ hp and gets 34 mpg hwy on regular.

Actually, I think the Mazda 6 is better-looking than the Sonata.

 

Me too. The Sonata looks good, but it's a bit overstated.

Re: the video above. They summed it up quite well with "box checker." A phat spec list is nice and all, but when it comes down to it, the best cars are the ones where the car as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The Japanese car co's love box checking, too, but fail to meet the Germans' intangible finesse. I think Hyundai's doing the same.

Additionally, those performance numbers are sad for a car with 274HP (@ ~3300 lbs). Overrated like the Genesis Coupe?

 

I like it but.. there's just something about the front end that doesn't sit right with me.

 

My gf just purchased the new Sonata....

I love it. So many features compared to the competition and is great to drive.

I find myself driving it more than the S for the comfort.

 

Seen a few in person. They look good IMO.
