Infiniti G35 coupe
Interior was really poor to me. I like the car, but it really is the S2000's competitor in price only. It has a low-revving, big torque V6 vs. high revving I-4. It is 400+ lbs. heavier, and a 2+2 non convertible. I like this car quite a bit but I got the RX8 instead. I liked the convenience of the swing out (extra) doors and more rear legroom. I was willing to give up some performance for that. I really like the interior of the RX8 more than the G35 as well. The G35 is a nicer 350Z (interior) and that is not a complement. The 350Z is akin to a Japanese Camaro in terms of interior quality.
I test drove a g35 optioned to the gills, a 325ci sport package, and an rx8. THe first two were great the g35 had a great power to price and handled like a dream. THe only problem is it is very difficult to find one at a dealership w/out all the options. All you really need is the 6mt w/ a moon roof. The rx8 was horrible the interior reminded me of my grandmothers ford taurus the gas millage is around 16 mpg, its ugly and not nearly as good at cornering as the g35. I really really liked the 325ci but after sunroof, leather and a handling package your looking at 35595 msrp. I like both the bmw, and the infiniti as much as my s2000, if price wasn't an option(couldn't afford either) i would be just as happy with them. But the rx8 is horrible and i am def not biased for my first car was an rx7 and i absolutely loved that car

Not quite that, but compared to a torqueless S2000, it's as fun as a school bus.

i really liked the g35 interior i thought the leather was nice, and liked the egernomics, but then again everyones got differnt styles. I use to have a mustang and i thought the quality on the rx8 was much closer to the ford then the infiniti... but of the 3 if you really want fit and finish he should get a 3 series.
Mazda and Ford are best buds, not a surprise on the Mazda's interior. Nissan has been shifting towards quality over cheap, Mazda has been going the other way, and Honda has remained high quality throughout the years and continues to do so.
