The big difference is the headlights. I wish I knew why they couldn't do the concept lights because they really look like they are ready for production (unlike some concept cars). They also seem to flow better than the production lights.

It's up on the Jaguar US website. Looks like a diesel is an option too. That transmission selector is pretty cool, i'd prefer a proper manual though.

I think the car is handsome enough. But, even though it isn't a retro design, I don't think it offers much of anything particularly new (for car design in general). Maybe, though, I'm just beeing too critical. But, I did see yesterday an '07 MB E350 with the sport package (18" wheels and other stuff) and thought it was a great-looking car, about on par with the Jag, despite the fact that it has been around since '03.

The exterior is hideous beyond belief. The front looks like some kind of misbegotten Dodge muscle car. The interior is simply boring. Ian Callum is to Jaguar what Bangle is to BMW.

WHAT??? I thought everyone in this forum loved Bangle. ;) |
all the newer cars seem to follow some kind of trend that i can't quite describe. I don't really like it because i see no uniqueness to it at all.
