Maserati Quattroporte rear view
I think the Quattroporte overall is a great-looking car that has real Italian cachet for less dough than you'd usually have to spend. It's still a mint to buy though, and it keeps up Maserati's tradition of having beautiful, if more quirkily designed exteriors than Ferraris.
Personally, in the large luxury sedan class, I think the Jag XJ kicks everyone's butt about the room. I absolutely adore how it looks. It is also perhaps the least talked-about car in the class, aside from maybe the A8. The Jag is a bit below the pricepoint here because I think a fully optioned XJ tops around $85k, and everything else is well in that range or above it. Here's my wish list for the class:
1 - Jaguar XJ
2 - Audi A8/S8
3 - Maser Quattroporte
4 - BMW 7
5 - Lexus LS
6 - Mercedes S

At first glance i thought it was a buick!, that side port deal reminds me of buick...anyway now that i have seen them several times and sat in one i can say that it is not bad looking, but not my taste...there are ugly cars out there...this one is not bad looking, perhaps because of the engine and drivetrain, these are redeeming qualities over the buick.
