Default Which Muffler for new CBR600RR

Hi, I just purchased a new CBR600RR and love it, but I am a bit dissappointed with the muffler sound. I would like something more deep and sporty, and that doesnt lower the bottom end power to much (I have heard the aftermarket mufflers give good top end at the cost of bottom end power). I am not sure if I should go for carbon, alloy or titanium. I have heard that Yoshi, Remus and Leo Vince are good. Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks

Taipan

I just got one, too. Yesterday I was in a bike meet and two of the guys there had the arata full system with power commander. It sounded nice, well built and they said it made a big power difference.

Do you want a slip-on, or full exhaust?

My boyrfriend put an anodized FMF pipe on his double R, and it sounded very nice and looked better than the Akropovic and Yosh slip-ons.

What do you want from the exhaust? The arata's are nice they run about 1200 and 320 for the powercommander they are alot of nice pipes out there fullsys and slipons just depends on what you want to spend.

I ended up getting a slip on, Leo Vince in carbon fibre. It cost me AUS$920. I shopped around and was getting quotes around there at most shops. I didnt want a full system, just wanted a nicer note.

You won't loose low end power by putting on a slip-on, only full exhaust loose low end and gain top end. S
