My first Performance Mod of sorts...
Well I bought my S not too long ago and when i got it the shift knob was kinda knicked up... and Im a bit picky. So after getting some new floor mats earlier this week I recieved my Shift knob last night and put it on this morning... I'll mostly let the pictures speak for themselves!
Old

Comparison

Start of taking the old knob off...

Then a Comparative weight measurement.
Stock Knob (incl set screw)

New knob (incl all used install hardware)

Installation:

Start out threading the optional nylon height adjustment set screw into the shift knob.

Then You screw the Adapter onto the Shifter (different ones available for diff. cars)

Then you put the two together... and it takes a little adjusting of getting the top logo correct, but i was lazy and just wanted to get it on first

Installed:

Impressions...
The feel of the shifter is indescribably better!!
Looks a million times better than it did before too!
Now I just gotta get used to drivin with it!

the extra weight on the knob helps a lot, My team voodoo knob is wonderful, it also gives the impression of a short shifter because it is countersunk.
is the TWM countersunk?
is the TWM countersunk?
You dont even need the height set screw if you ultimately want it lower...
