I am getting more fascinated with this car. It looks so hot in this video, and I love how small it appear when Hammond gets out of it.

My huge issue becomes the width. Coming into my work parking ramp there is a 90 degree right turn, one car width, narrow, and a high concrete curb one either side. It is know as the wheel killer at work. I rashd one of my bimmer wheels on it already, and this car appears wider, with wheels that stick out even more. I'd hate to scrub the sh*t out of one of those goregeous wheels on my first day driving it to work. Or getting it dinged in every parking lot.

But now I am intrigued enough to take one for a spin if I can find a dealer in town.

Do you think you'll be able to test drive one? Car looks more impressive in person than in the photos.

Seen one up close and on track at COTA, thought it looked cool. Saw one driving down a normal road this weekend and it really caught my eye. Still wouldn't buy one though. Automatic only and too heavy.

Totally agree.

Can't think of many cars sold in the US that is lighter.
Power leaves something to be desired in 2015 but I don't think lightness is a problem.

How much lighter can a car get?

I'm sure it's more just the principal that he's referring to. He probably sees it as a light car made heavier by safety regs.

Yea the U.S. 4C is a few hundred pounds heavier than the EU model.

You both just got trolled and may not realize it, haha

vader, hurry up and test drive one... I'm curious what it's like from a non-journalist.

The only thing I've read (haven't checked the Alfa forums) is this, from an owner on TrackHQ. He ended up crashing it at Willow Springs... haven't heard much since then.

Some video of him tracking it:

Well my Elise was 1,953 and a very similar car. Why is this thing 2,495 when it has a full CF tub?
