Next Civic Type R to have 2.0 Turbo
So Honda goes all performance like with a 300hp turbo engine and 7 speed DCT - and they put it in a FWD Civic??? The mind boggles.
(Actually, to be honest, I suspect that selling such a Civic would quickly recoup their investment in the drivetrain, while the additional cost of a new FR or MR chassis would take a lot longer to hit profitability. Still sucks for a RWD enthusiast.)

Even if it did, its presence brings back memories of the theft rates of ITRs. I'm damn near middle age and I KNOW if I took such a car to the movies I'd come out minus one honda or parts of it, or hater marks.
I know how that feels since I had a ITR. But, I dont think that will be the case these days. I think the time and culture has changed a bit, all these fast and furious hype is gone.
