I saw the Nismo Z at the auto show and the sad thing is that I don't think it has any real performance enhancements... No power, no weight loss...

80% New VQ35HR, 306hp 268ft. lbs. torque, 7,500 redline, Twin throttle bodies, Bridgestone RE-01Rs, aero system that reduces lift, spot welded chassis by Autech, Yamaha mass dampers, Stiffer spring rates ... but who cares the rear bumper is ugly right...

The back bumper is indeed ugly, but honestly, if I was driving it, I would not have to look at it...

If this thing wasn't pushing $40k in price, I'd honestly take a long, hard look at it. Considering some of the competition in the track car area, I'm not completly sold. Especially if you consider that if roll-your-own, it will probably cost less and not incur the "exclusivity" tax.

Though a  to Nissan. Very nice effort...

If I'm not mistaken, that engine is already in all new 350Zs, and also in the G35.

only thing worse was Mercedes whoring out 1 single 5.5 liter block into 8 different AMG model's... naturally the F/I ones got stronger internals... but the block was the same...

The front isn't bad, but the rear is hideous!!!
