Default Porsche forums and tidbit on the Ariel Atom too...

What's a good forum like s2ki.com for Porsche? Possibly thinking about a new 997 911 GT3.

Had seriously thought about getting the Ariel Atom, but that car has been banned on the racetracks by most organizations in Texas. Hence the GT3

For the JDM whores: Brammo had previously offered the Atom with the GM Ecotec engine only. Due to popular demand, they are importing K20A engines from Spoon Sports for a limited run of 9 cars on the queue for the Honda-powered Ariel Atom.

Why are they banning the Atom on racetracks?

their official line was that they didn't want to mix open-wheeled racecars with regular streetcars. That's a shame since they're welcomed/encouraged on the California tracks.
