Default Roll Call

Rice or Nice? A simple roll call down the door in a complimenting color. We all know a bunch of vinyl on a car is ricey and looks too F&F. But a few cars I have seen with roll calls look good. For instance, a black S2K with red interior and a simple red roll call on the door looks good. The same car with a pink or yellow roll call looks rice. What is the general opinion on this.

Only if the car is in a show, that day, during the show, then it's okay.

Having spent a somewhat significant amount of time around race cars, I find that some vinyl graphics can look very nice - regardless of whether the car is for street or track.

i always want to think that they look cool, but frankly it really cheapens the car
and really not worth doing on an s2k or any other roadster

I assume you mean stickers of companies that make aftermarket parts pasted down the side of your car.

Rice.

Why do you care if other people who you will never see again know what you may or may not have in your car? And why would you want to advertise for a company that in all probability bent you over and charged way too much in the first place?

I agree. For a show it would be fine, but not for the street. Well not on S2000. A civic maybe. The S2K is too classy for stickers and yes, it does make the car look "Cheap" etc

If the sponsors paid for the car, parts and labor then....yes. They have the right to advertise.

If they GIVE you the parts in exchange for fender space then.....yes.

But, if they did not pay for the car and/or arrange for this then.....NO. No free advertising. Same thing goes for the dealership license plate frames. No thanx. Are they paying me to advertise for them? Is my car payment lower because of it? No.

Our car is enough of an attention grabber. You don't really need the "look what I've got - yo" roll call.

Again, like butt-holes, everyone has an opinion.

Enjoy,
Hockey
