RX-8 Sounds Niiiicccccceee...
 

On the way to work today an RX-8 came zipping up next to me. I must say the exhaust note on that car is quite nice. It sounded a lot like the 350Z. I was surprised...it was much deeper then I would expect from such a small displacement engine. I really liked it. Just thought I'd share.

have you heard of a rotory engine before?? Like on a RX7? They are pretty unique

I drove one today and thought it was almost too quiet inside the car. I could barely hear the engine at all compared to my S.

some likes rotary sound, some hates it.
i loved it when i drove my friend's rx-7. :)

I think rotary engines make some of the most hideous noises audible from an automobile.

I got to take one for a weekend test drive and I liked the sound, almost like an electric motor. Very quiet while cruising but a neat mechanical sound when you opened it up.
