The S2000 choice alternative is the 4.57 aftermarket gear which is very very noisy, however strong but not a precision high quality unit like Mazda's 4.444.
Quick, someone tell Richmond gears about their inferior and noisy gears....

Strange that they would discover this phenomenon by reading this forum. "Gears" have been a drag racer's performance mod for the past 5 decades.

Also, it really ticks me off that they can do "gears" for so much cheaper than what we've been paying.

On the positive side, we know where to go for some cheap 4.44's!

:iagree: Looks like they can get 4.77s for under $300!

This with the flywheel, CZ, High Flow Cat, and REVi will put us well into EVO, WRX STi and 350Z territory.
How can he put a 350Z in with an EVO and STI?

Drop 'em all off a 1/4 mile high cliff and they'll all hit the bottom about the same time. :p
