Beautiful car. I saw it at the LA Autoshow but saw one on the street tonight. I really like how they made the tires beefier looking with dual spoked design (ala M3) and the ground effect. I just don't know about the Mercedes pricing structure. If it was $10K less I would probably take a long hard look. 362 hp is not bad (though I would have rather had the 493 hp blown V8.

 

E55 all the way. i'm obssessed with it.

 

The new E55 is a beast but what it gives up in amenties is a little too much for the people I know with the E55 AMG. Power is nothing without control...

 

me too, hopefully Mercedes will put the SC V8 in the CLK55 soon.

I owned the pervious CLK before and love the new one even more.

 

My fingers are already crossed (that my dad opens his pocketbook once again and takes a long trip out of town).

 

a guy at my work just got a new CLK55.... not my cup of tea... with 400 miles on it, the check engine light kept coming on, and so far they found a hole in the catalitic converter.... ahahaha.. what do you expect for $70k.

it only has 245-17's on the rear which seemed skinny to me for all that hp and being a AMG. I would rather have a M5 if given the choice of spending $70k on one car.
