Stolen F348 in Dallas
|
Cliffs?
|
-Man drove to grocery in his ferrari
-Got flu stayed in bed -Ferrari stolen out of garage -Search ensues |
I was thinking that thread had lots of fail or epic LOL
|
More than that
I'm reading through it now - OP hydroplanes Ferrari a week earlier and posts about it, claims 'no damage' - OP parks Ferrari in garage with keys in ignition with broken door and has repair people come out - OP goes out shopping on Saturday morning, comes back later and car is gone - Ferrari has loud exhaust, couldn't have been started - OP calls police and reports stolen - Another user says Ferrari is parked outside his building, doors locked, front/rear damage - FerrariChat claims insurance fraud in the making |
Reminds me of my 993 that was taken out of my driveway for one of the few nights I didn't park in the garage. I was surprised when insurance paid that they didn't at least look at the house and garage just in case a car was parked on the property.
Either way I watched my car get towed up the street and it's sad to see a car go. |
^^^ wait so they were stealing your car and you were there and you saw it. Dammmnnnn and you werent able to do anything ?

This sounds plausible; insurance fraud is worth considering on an 348 in top condition! ;)

Wow. Just....wow. Don't know what to say here. Munching popcorn now. I'm on F-chat and I've rarely seen a thread get to 30 pages.
|
I LOL'ed hard... Still reading... :p
|
Dayum that was a looooong read, mostly nonsense speculation.
Somewhat interesting but could be compressed to about 10 posts. |
Might be the best forum post I've EVER read, ESPECIALLY on a ferrari forum:
Okay...I just wasted about an hour of my life reading this thread, and while I think there is a whole lot of shadiness going on, the one thing that bothers me more than anything else is how many people have come out and slammed 'probable cause' because he may work at a job that is hourly, and are attacking his credibility based solely on that fact and his financial status. True, I think you should verify any claim you have with proof, but I have watched page after page of ivory tower ******bagery with people saying he cannot be trusted because he has an hourly pay job, or that he may work at a liquor store or other 'questionable' job. You people need to get a freaking grip. Financial standing has NOTHING to do with what kind of person you are. Some of the most crooked, bound for hell, people I have ever met are very wealthy. They just ripped people off their whole lives and benefitted from it. Just because many of you (and myself included) dress in suits most days, and report to an office that implies financial achievement, does not make you anymore credible than someone working at McDonald's. Get over yourselves. The 348 and F355 are cheap cars now. Deal with it. Plus, just having a career that is mainstream (lawyer/doctor/stock broker/etc) does not buy you credibility. Think how many of the elite thought Bernie Madoff was a 'stand up guy' or 'respectable' just 5 or 6 years ago, and now realize the guy was just a high end thief and con-man. I am just saying...stick to the facts. Just because someone has an hourly job and may spend that money on an F355 is none of your damn business. They can spend it how they want. Take the claims at face value for ANYONE you meet, and look for proof accordingly. But just having a Ferrari does not make you 'credible' like most people here seem to think it does. If he posted a picture of his F355 and a bank statement, would you all suddenly take 'probably cause' into your arms? Think about it. |
wow it gets REEAAALLLY interesting later int the story. I read all the posts and Holy crap.

being the idiot i am i spent 3 hours reading every single reply on that thread.
basically. ferrari reported stolen "probable cause" (also known as PC) claim's car was there sat at 7am as he apparently works nearby (also first time poster) tony says he was at walmart driving the car couldn't of been there tony gets mad, creates the phrase "slurp my butt" a lot of random nonsense in between and accusations everyone playing detective a lot of zophie is hot PC causing shit and not posting any evidence to back his claims tony posting reciept from wal-mart PC still talking smack doing nothing God my eyes burn i need to sleep, this is why i'm late for work on Monday's. |
Thanks, Chengstar! So, not much has changed since I read the first 30 pages. PC makes some accusations/allegations, Tony is offended and refuting them, blah, blah, blah. :D
