Nice video. Slow-mo makes everything look a little bit sweeter on bikes.
How did you like the CR500? I've got a '94 KX500 and it is finicky and requires lots of jetting adjustment with minor swings in temperature. Ever since I rode my first dirt bike, my friends 76' Kawasaki KE100, 20+ years ago I have been hooked. The bike had seen better days by the time I rode it. It barely ran, my dad had to help us reset the points on it. I had never experienced anything like it and I was blown away. Bikes I\ve owned in order of ownership: 1976 Yamaha YZ80 1995 Yamaha RT100 2002 Honda XR200 1998 Yamaha TT-R 250 2002 Suzuki RM 250 2008 Suzuki DRZ400SM (owned the drz and the rm at the same time) 2008 Husaberg FE450 (owned the FE and the RM at the same time, sold shortly after I got the KX500) 1994 Kawasaki KDX200 (Sold RM to get this for Girlfriend/Significant other) 1995 Kawasaki KX500 I'm still sorting the 500 jetting out. I rebuilt it over the winter and the rest of the bike was refreshed in the spring. When I can get the jetting right, it is a monster. It is the first bike I've owned that is finicky so I have found that I'm having to keep notes. |
