Title of this thread is misleading. The article itself says "So, it’s not a confirmation, but it is a step in the right direction."

The title of the article ends with a question mark, the title of this thread ends with an exclamation point. Big difference.

x 5, just as everyone else said this title is misleading, it is far from confirmed into market production.

With that said, assuming it does go into market, according to the link in the article, it will not end up looking the same as the concept.

Motoring states that "[w]e think Toyota knew this car was going to be a smash hit, because from what we are hearing it’s already well into the development phase. But don’t expect the finished product to land in showrooms looking like this. Our source says those sharp lines, scoops and edges will definitely be “softened” for the market."

I, myself would love to see a version very similar, if not identical to the exterior of the concept as I think the concept car looks great.

Hopefully they will do something about the front end before it (if it does) comes out. I like the appearance.

“Priced at around $16,000 (in the US), this entry-level sports coupe will slot into the line-up under the successful 86.”
I somewhat doubt this statement would hold true. It would be rather difficult to imagine a new sports car that is ranked lower than the 86.
