That's what slower cars say. It's like the chubby girl saying to the supermodel, "Yeah, but looks aren't everything." They aren't...but it certainly helps.

The C7 and Camaro are still great cars to drive, especially in Grand Sport or 1LE trims, and while they may not have the agility of an Exige or the engine of a GT3, they still do everything well and objectively surpasses pretty much any cars at their price point in terms of performance AND reliability (very rare). I don't know how any enthusiast can dismiss them, especially because of its badge. Who cares who makes it? If it's good, it's good. Just admit you don't like it for personal reasons, don't buy one, and we'll all be happier.

It starts and ends with looks when it comes to cars you don't need.... When it's a life cycled business vehicle like a dump trunk, then the utility is more important than the looks.

A sports car is just like a mistress. Its there for one thing, and it better look good and perform or its not serving its intended role.

You should read about how the Cadillac ATS chassis stacked up against the 3 series. Now add a v8 and you have a camaro.

On the topic of looks. If alot of BMWs had a Hyundai badge people wouldn't defend its looks that much. Badges allow companies to rinse and repeat designs, even if they arent great, but because they're "iconic." Like the 911.
The 6th gen camaro isnt a total stunner, but its proportions in 1le trim look great.

Though the facelift sure made it ugly. Seriously, what was Chevy thinking with that front end?

^ Agreed on the Camaro facelift. It works better in some colors and trims but overall, definitely a step back.
