The $65k BMW Z4...
Hey all,
Pricing for the new Z4 came out recently and we now get to see what latest bimmer roadster will cost. basically, $65k for the six-cylinder, 382hp M40i model, or $51k for the 255hp/295lbft four banger. No manual transmissions with either, https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a2...ster-30i-m40i/ https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod...1534976429.jpg Thoughts? |

Can understand no manual on other models, but this needs a manual for enjoyment. These will probably sell too few to even have justified the manual development, seeing how the car market is going. |
Let's see how the Supra looks.

It does look good imo. Bit pricey though...

hope it leases well at some point

Price seems fine, but the styling is a bit busy for me.

I wouldn't kick it out of my driveway but for $65K, I'm picking a Boxster S every time. Or a Corvette Grand Sport. Or a Camaro ZL1 'vert for just a few grand more (transaction price will probably be about the same, since GM has pretty nice discounts).
Too big, too heavy, too expensive for what it offers. If I'm going that big and heavy, I might as well get a car with some real firepower under the hood AND get the option of a manual transmission if I so desire. |
A little cheaper than a Jag F convert with a six. I might be interested in trying to schedule back to back test drives next year.
