Default ****ing GM!

*****newest updated******

THIS FRIDAY IS THE DAY!!!!! WOOT

****UPDATED*****

THE ****ING CATS ARE NOW ON BACKORDER!!!! :****:

so i have 6400 miles on my Z06. I sort of have it sold but..... the check engine light came on.... it has to do with Exhaust gases - Code P0420 - so I take it in... they reset the light and say "it needs the ecu reflashed but we don't have the program yet... we reset the light but it may come back on".......

so the light comes on in about 1 hour of driving......

after talking to the dealer again they say they have no way of fixing anything.

talk to GM Customer service on Friday......"we'll call you back today".... I say "call my cell phone here is the number"....

I call GM again this AM and leave a message...... then again early afternoon..... someone finally calls me back and says "no fix yet... sorry"....

I told them how I looked it up on the internet (thank you Al Gore) and the CATS need replaced.... 'JUST ****ING REPLACE MY CATS YOU ****ING WHORE!!!!"... "sorry... that has to be from someone higher up".... "may i speak to someone higher up?"... no...

After all of that she did finally call my dealer who then had the service manager call someone who then saw ferris pass out at 31 flavors!!!!!!

updated....... the service guy just called and said they would replace my cats!!!!

I didn't know you got some cats when you bought a Corvette. Don't they get scared when you do 160 mph on that bridge?

at first they basically said **** you...... i had to badger them and say "I will not accept that answer" in order to get it moved along... "we will call you between 2-5pm tomorrow"... NO.. how about we figure this out now....

I think the Cats are the way to fix it but they are trying to find a cheaper way.... **** that shit...

could be a faulty o2 sensor as well.

why should they replace the cats when it may or may not be the problem? they've spent time and money on a "fix" that solves nothing.

jesus.

Trouble about the same as some of us went through with Honda when the moving Cat element shaved off the O2 sensor. I never did get mine fixed under warranty and finally used a Cat donated by an owner to replace mine.
