it really shouldnt have been this close

the gallardo and the c5 z06 should be a closer matchup

Depends on how fast they were going to start. It looked like they were cruising at atleast 45 mph before they hit it.

The snap oversteer is caused by the tires. Some magazine was stating if the Z06 had different tires it wouldn't be an issue.

With the Gallardo getting a very significant jump and the C6 Z06 pretty much stopping his jump and early advance immediately shows that the C6 Z06 is very noticeably faster than the Gallardo.

That said, I'd take a Gallardo easily before a C6 Z06, if I didn't have to pay the price difference.
