11K RPM, 1k HP, NA

Best part is they built a prototype 3 cyl engine that revs to 11k RPM and made 250HP, LoL. Then they proceeded to x4 that for the v12.

Tell you what, if Honda decides to put out a 4Cyl engine that NA makes close to 300HP and revs to 11k I’d buy it. Must be RWD.

Incredible!

Do want the 3-cyl!!! That would be AWESOME in the Lotus!

It's insane they can get such a big engine to rev so high in a "production" car. I love where the new crop of hypercars is going.

Wow that's cool!

Crazy how little is in front underneath the car. Totally revolutionary air management for a "production car". As big a deal as the Enzo's air management was when it came out. Just wow. How Aston was able to contour the nose to keep it looking like an Aston (as much they could) is well done.

Shwing!

I've never wanted to see a cutaway of an engine more than this. Must be absolutely wild. Interesting that they went to port fuel injection of direct injection.

The sound of that engine in the Twitter video is absolutely insane. This is going to be an epic car, in every way.

we'll see what happens here, but very likely the port injection will offer better longevity and less baked on carbon deposits on intake valves- maybe using the fuel charge to cool the valves or some other engineering reason.
super cool to hear this run on the test bench.
RWD, manual- how would you like to keep that thing bouncing off the rev limiter!

11k RPM, 1000 horsepower, naturally aspirated, and it meets emissions...I didn't think we'd see anything like this in a road car ever again.
