135i New ride pics
This car is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven. I drove the new M3 today and it really needs to be driven on a track. At normal day to day speeds it feels its weight and wants to go fast, but can't. It then drives pissed off and grumpy. The 135i is much more fun to drive under 120 mph. *on a side note the M3 HAULS ASS and sounds like a 60 muscle car on roids. It also has the vague long throw 6 speed that the last M3 had...:thumbsdow
Cool features of the 135i.
1. Engine (WOW)
2. Torque (see #1)
3. Suspension is very tossable
4. Stereo, very nice for upgraded factory (and ipod integrates perfect)
5. Seats rock for comfort and adjustment
6. Steering wheel kicks ass
7. 6 speed was a surprise (dare I say joy) given my 2 gens of M3 experience
8. Brakes (HUGE)
Weather was crappy and these are new car "happy snappies". Better pics when the weather breaks.

Nothing compares to the S2000's gearbox...lol
The throws are not too long and the clutch travel is the right distance but a little vague. Twice as good as the last/current gen M3 though.
All and all it's better than I expected since I didn't test drive a 6 speed before I bought it.

Wow! That looks hot. Congrats! Honestly...that car would be near perfect if it wasn't for that sagging belly design element. Besides that...it's hot. I LOVE the interior. Thing seems like lots of fun. I just don't see how they okay'd that beer belly rocker panel. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt though...it might look better in person.

Congrats!! The more I see the 1's the more I like them. I test drove the 135 and the new M3 this past weekend, both are great, but the M3 is still the car I dream about. =) That said, getting a 135 would be awesome as well.
