FRM is right. The NSX in the Rolex GT series is 'factory-backed' by Honda of America Mfg.

And yes MDXLuvr, damn NSX's. I know you weren't referring to us in the GT series, but we don't qualify very well either, but we are also trying. The regualtions in our seris really put a hurting on our cars' performance.

Yes I was referring to the Grand Am series. And I was upset b/c I luv my NSX, and the DAL motorsports guys are friends of mine thorough the NSX community. They are regulars at the track events as instructors. Unfourtunately, the regulations really, really limit them at the track.

How would the Grand Am Cup compare to the Speed World Challenge? (Both in the Touring and GT classes)

It seems like there are more teams competing in Grand Am.

Grand-Am concentrates on endurance racing (3 to 6 hours, usually) while SPEED Challenge does sprint races (less than an hour each.)

Also, it seems like the Grand-Am cars are closer to stock.

Grand Am Cup cars are close to stock.

SWC cars are highly modified. They are faster, but cost a lot more.
