What I meant was that I've never owned a car primarily focused on luxury.

I see BMW, Acura, and MB, among many other brands as luxury-centric manufacturers. What, in your opinion, would be a "luxury car?"

This is only my opinion and gives context to my statement - S-class and 7-series are luxury cars, while C-class, E-class, 3-series, 5-series are prestige brand cars, but not luxury cars.
