2008 GTI for $17599 thoughts
Hey every one i went to carmax today just to see what they had. Well i found a 2008 GTI 4-doors 2.0turbo autamatic/triptronic for $17,599. It comes with mats as well. Now i am in need of something with more room for my dog and my GF. But the only bad i see is that they only offerd me $21k for the CR. Now i know i could get more from a private sale but could i find a deal like this again on a GTI. I am in VA right now which is were the GTI is and am from FL. I will only be here for 2 more weeks. Thanks for any input on this car. Oh i also thought this car was tons of fun to drive even though it was a AT.

What's wrong with keeping both the CR and the Previa? The Previa should have plenty of room for your dog. Besides, my guess would be that less then 5% of your driving is done with the dog...You're just giving up too much when what you have now is better.

Well the previa does have plenty of room but its a beater with no AC and the engine is under the driver seat so it gets real hot quick. I am not sure how long it will last has 189k miles inside is in crap shape same thing with the out side. Leaks oil and the check engine light stays on and now the oilchange light stays on. Ur right i don't drive much with the dog but i am about to do 2 road trips with my GF and the dog. One to Texas the other to Tampa FL. So i could use a litte bit more room even just around town would be nice. Now perftect world would me to keep the CR and to get the GTI for the side. But i don't want 2 car payments right now. Oh the previa cost me $450 so thats why i bought it was hoping to get about a year or so out of it.

That's so overpriced... you can get a faster, better Mazdaspeed 3 for like $13-14k.

i don't mean to sound insensitive, but would you ever consider getting rid of the dogs.
GF, better be serious with the GF to get rid of the S, imagine you get rid of the S and 2 weeks later your single, man, that would really suck.
Does the GF have a car, i think it's time she got herself one.
Anyway, gl with decision 2010.

Man u don't sound insensitive at all. Well the GF drives the previa she goes to college and works part time she is saving for one. I'm leting her use my previa right now till she can get a nice car. She wants me to keep the CR. But i feel like the CR does not fit in my life style any more. No way i would get rid of my Dog cars come and go but other things don't. I am 25 and feel like im geting sick of the sports car sence with ricers always wanting to race. And me always scared some one will steal my car

Well If your sick of the sports car scene then it looks like you have already made your decision. I think you will regret selling it... but you can always buy another one later. Good luck.
