WHY NOT??

The new Z06 makes
71.44 Horsepower per litre

That would meen the New Viper would have to make
84.34 Horsepower per litre <That is Very Very Attainable

Dodge has a very attainable goal with a 8.3litre
Yes, I can too can do simple math. Hell will be totally frozen when a motor based on the present 8.3 litre dodge lump makes anywhere close to 83HP/liter while being N/A and emissions legal. The LS7 makes that much HP/liter because unlike the dodge it can actually rev. And, the LS7 is still 10+ HP/liter short of 83. It aint going to happen. With that said I couldn't care less. I hope the motor stays big and NA. I would like to see around 600HP while losing a couple hundred pounds.

Keep in mind

Honda S2000
120hp per litre
And it's slower than all the cars mentioned...what is your point, the topic was ITB's. My M3 has ITB's and so does my M5 both of which are pushing 100+hp/ltr or better. ITB's are awesome but make tuning more difficult.

Keep in mind
S2000
240hp* / ~340lb = 0.706hp/lb

Z06
505hp /~490lb = 1.03hp/lb

*Assumes the 2L cars wouldn't have the same drop the 2.2L saw with the new SAE standards)
