the old interior is basic: basic materials, basic layout, basic functionality, but it's tough and has all the info you need right at eye level. The seats were always the best part of the old interior.
The new one is fantastic. All the speakers are an optional package. It includes 3 subwoofers and if you remove it, it does lose some 80lbs or so. The weights break down like this:
How the weights break down:
Curb Weight, lb. (kg) 3,354 (1,521.4) - Viper model
3,297 (1,495.5) - Viper model with SRT Track Package
3,431 (1,556.3) - Viper GTS model
3,374 (1,530.4) - Viper GTS model with SRT Track Package
The difference between the viper model and the GTS model is probably mostly the extra speakers! Not like any of us could really tell much difference anyway ~2% weight difference is not much.
Pretty light car when you realize it has a steel frame, a monster engine, and huge wheels, tires and brakes.

Also it seems funny to me that people that used to criticize the old Vipers for their poor interiors; would now be criticizing the new one for essentially having an interior thats too nice for a fast american car.

Thanks for the info
So from what I also understand the photos that are all up are mostly of the GTS model with the super clean lines? The non GTS has that very different hood design I think...I wasn't a fan of that.

The vents on the previous hood were painted the body color or had a stripe running down them. Hopefully, the hood with the vents will be available in the body color.

600 ft-lbs and already people are worried about the weight of 18 speakers. The car looks awesome. I will take mine in black, please.

Lol. I don't think any of us are actually worried or complaining about them. I'm just surprised at the amount. That is a ton! And they are hidden! I didn't see any in those interior photos. lol

I don't know its the angle of the pic or the racing stripes, but the first pic with the blue car looks ugly as hell. The rest look pretty good, but that pic made me go cross eyed.
