2013 Accord V6 6AT

There are other wheel options from the factory.
I was just picking somewhat similar images I found on Google. It's funny, I think that view of the Accord is its best view. I've been to the local Honda dealership and the Accord does look much better in person. One of the main reasons I like the Optima so much is because it looks generally solid from every view. Does anyone else wish that Acura had taken the design direction that Honda is currently going with their lineup, instead of the beak?

I guess going back 20 years isn't silly at all. Thanks for the reminder.
BMW now has two motors, not three, and the examples you're mentioning all describe the base motor that was basically made for people that wanted a badge and didn't care what was under the hood.
BMW now only has two engines for the 3-Series and the base engine is pretty potent, especially in comparison to other models historically. It's base engine replaces the top normally aspirated engine from the previous generation and offers similar hp and more torque. It's hardly comparable to base engines of yesteryear.
But sure, all silly. So move on out of the thread and enjoy life. I'll be in SD in a few weeks enjoying it with you.

Nope, your argument is still silly.
Lets take a 2005 BMW. Is that too old for you? At that point, BMW offered 2 engine choices (unless you consider the M another engine choice). Base was the 325 and uplevel was 330. The V6 Accord would outrun the base model 325.
The base model 2011 BMW 328 did 6.4 to 60, the 2011 Accord V-6 did it in 6.1....
YOU were the one that asked "When is the last time a BMW lost to an Accord in a straight line?"
Look, i get it, you love Hondas...you want this accord to be awesome and i am sure it is. But taking a top motor car and comparing it to the bottom motor car and saying "BMW beater" IS silly. As i said before... apples and oranges..
And i hope you enjoy San Diego...

2011 Accord V6 0-60 in 6.1? Maybe the coupe with 6MT. Nothing else was close, certainly not the automatic.

This is the Internet. The safe bet is always to assume a poster is dumb, and only revise upwards if warranted. Nothing personal.

I've crtitcize the new Hondas a lot. But this accord really looks much better than the old one. It's not most beatiful but it isn't the Lincon Accord anymore. That being said I really believe that once you pass 250HP on a FWD your wasting your time and a lot of tires. I heard that the new altima have something to avoid torque steer but even with that I won't go with another FWD which such power.
I've learned the hard way. I have an Altima SE-R six speed which is pretty good. I did some track days. I was very good in the straigh, even maintaining with a stock STI and a few 3 series but once we got to the twisties part they past by like I was cruising.
A Mustang Laguna Seca can go as fast as a M3 in Laguna Seca with half the price. But a BMW is doble the car than the Mustang will be. Is simple because the BMW is the ultimate driving machine
