If by funky you mean ugly, then yes, definitely funky.

How is this a concept? Concepts are supposed to be wild. This is about as bland as you could make a car.

Avolon lines and some really ugly wheels. Another dud from the Stevie Wonder design studio.

I'd own one if it was Accord priced but sadly it will be over 50K and that boys is a deal breaker

Funny how a bunch of enthusiasts are stuck on looks and are ignoring four wheel steering, 370 hp combined hp, a fancy all-new (for the industry) AWD system with electric motors that are independently controlled without a diff linking them to the gas motor, etc, etc... Heck, by the same standard, we'd never consider the relatively ugly Subaru STi or Mitsu Evolution since they're hopped up versions of homely cars.

No one is curious about actual performance numbers? Immediate torque from electric motors? All that grip from a truly serious AWD system at this luxury level (nothing else comes close, that I can think of - Audi's S4 with the electric diff and such is probably closest and it's still not close)? Cornering adjustments and stability control systems with the independent motor control on each side? Real world gas mileage from a car with three (!) electric motors?

Well, yeah. I'm not fond of the looks at all. It's big and heavy. It's needlessly complex. And frankly, 370 hp in a porky sedan is nothing to write home about. Nor will it likely be cheap. It's just not a car that appeals to most car nuts. It's probably great for that 50 something guy who wants to drive to the office in insulated comfort, in short a Lexus buyer.

And I wouldn't consider the STi for some of the same reasons but also because I can't get comfortable in one and ultimately they are indeed a tarted up Impreza econobox and there's only so much perfume you can slather on a pig.
