Great looking car.. But the vent at the front of the hood makes it look like it's smiling stupidly.

If this car is a PDK only (which it is rumored to be) then I will loose all faith in this world

I understand what you mean but this is progress.
the car is faster and easier to drive fast with PDK. When we are talking about the edge of the envelope and every millisecond counts, you have to look for any advantage.

I don't think this is Porsche's philosophy. The GT cars about driving experience. Yes they are performance orientated, but if what you say is correct, PDK would have been in it in the 997.2 GT cars.

or maybe they were unhappy with putting the previous PDK into the 997 RS cars.

These are still street cars, not race cars.

The reality of it is that 90% (giving you an optimistic 10%) of these drivers won't track their car. Even if they do most wont competitively. So IMHO PDK isn't a necessity for a car like a gt3 and most exotics.

I say let the RS have manual only. No PDK.

Hopefully it will be on the RS cars then. The statistic is something like 70-80% of RS owners will track their cars.
