One of them is me!

Just picked up a 2017 S3 at 12% off MSRP in Atlanta. Was pretty hesitant about the switch to my first automatic car, but after a weekend of driving, I'm not too upset anymore.

Extremely happy with the car -- I got the Black Optics, Technology, B&O, and Carbon Fiber Packages with the Sports Seats on Daytona Gray. I'd say my favorite part of the car is the Virtual Cockpit -- google earth directions on my dash is just awesome. It doesn't lag at all and is very smooth.

Today I'm going to debadge it -- fortunately there are only two S3s to remove on the car.

How do you like the nav being shared in the instrument cluster? Do you find it to be too small/hard to read? I noticed more manufacturers are doing that.

That seems like a cool feature.

You can actually expand it to fill the entire dash with tiny tachs and speedometers in the corners. Audi got it right on the first run - I'm pretty impressed.

My DD is a B8 S4 6MT which I bought new.
Great daily driver - especially if you live somewhere with winter weather. Slap snows on her and it's truly an amazing year round machine.
I wish the A3/S3 was offered in a MT - especially the upcoming RS3. That 5cyl with a MT would be EPIC. For such a small car you'd think it would be... but that is not the direction of the industry.
With simple tuning those S3's are very quick! I'd go APR stage 2..
I'd prob go with the Golf R just for the MT.

ENJOY!

BUT, the S2000 stays in the garage, always.
