2019 California Aftermarket Exhaust

the law had not changed. It’s just the enforcement of the law had change by there being no more fix it tickets. I’m also 100% positive all cars that have a 100% stock oem exhaust system is legal even if it can’t pass the 95 dB test. And I can guarantee you many exotics like the Non turbo farrari and lambos will not pass the 95 dB test even though they are 100% stock.

OEM C7Z exhaust in track mode (baffles open) would fail. Easy enough to turn the switch to quiet mode before being tested.
Yet another reason for people to flee CA for TX if the crowding, traffic, taxes, firearms restrictions, wildfires, exorbitant cost of living, and other burdensome regulations aren't enough .

So Cal, Orange County S owner here. I went with the Apexi WS2, not trying to stick out like a sore thumb around Fullerton, Brea, Whittier, Yoruba Linda, etc. But yet, I still get rolled because them fools doing those “street take overs” literally put targets on our backs. You DA’s triggered this whole thing. Now, because I drive an S2k, the police are constantly on my ass. I’ve asked them WTH is their problem, they straight up say “street take overs”, nothing more. Thank you morons.

i own two somewhat loud cars. One, you can kinda choose how loud you want it, but neither is annoyingly loud. Santa Monica attracts a lot of tools that like to cruise with stupid loud cars and Harley-like motor cycles. Not only are they annoyingly loud they often drive like lobotomized lobster c**ks too. I’m fine with it. They need attention so bad it’s pathetic.
i hope they start giving tickets for motorcycles blasting “music” super loud too, while they rev their engines, usually while going about 5 mph...it is LA after all.

No. Californians have already ruined Austin. And in DFW they have ruined real estate. It's absurdly expensive now. Traffic, congestion, high prices, us natives are wanting to flee now. Californians are a plague and a g damn virus to wherever they spread to. I know Austin, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, people that are so pissed off.

Good news for you, they don't want to move to Minny, too cold for their tattays. I had planned on retiring where I live now, not a chance in hell now.
