Car Talk - for car enthusiasts.

I don't get what's so hard to understand here.

For sure. I wonder if old dudes put Invidia Q300 on their Miatas, find them to be too loud for their liking & swap them for Tanabe Touring Medallions too?

Wait, they have the same discussions over on Miata.net?

Dude you're missing your calling to join miata.net with a stock 1993 Miata with chrome trunk rack & Cool Breeze Scoop from Moss Motorsports.

Lots of concern about the backup camera and cupholders.

Yup! Soft top ND weighs between ~2330 to 2380 depending on trim/options. RF version is of course heavier by about 100 lbs.

These cars depreciate quickly. Gotta love it, if you don't buy new!
A guy in our local car club who owns a reputable ECU tuning company just listed his ND for sale for $22k USD. Brembo/BBS package, 13k miles, new PS4S tires, and ECU/header/exhaust tuned to make 175whp (so about same power:weight as a stock S2k, with more torque). Suuuuper tempting.

because we are car enthusiasts, not brand snobs.
just because someone has a nicer car doesn't mean a "lesser" car isn't worthy of interest.
there's a reason why the Miata outsold the S2000 30-1 over their lifetimes.

Here’s a question: Does anyone think that there is a “Chuck S equivalent” on a Miata forum somewhere?
