Speaking of Pickups...

This is in my garage now.... just something different... not that exciting to drive but somewhat unique.

The interior is just as quirky as the exterior.

I didn’t expect to like driving it as much as I do.

Is there anything you'd bring over?

I used Frank at Hi-Rev motors in Florida. Fantastic transaction at way less than others were asking. I highly recommend him. I called him and told him what I wanted, and he had his person in Japan find it at an auction.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions or want me to get you in touch with him.

Here is a link to his site: Hi-Rev Motors - Your #1 Source For JDM Vehicles

One thing I hate about living in CA is that even though we can get it here, we still can't register them. I do wonder though that with cars like the NSX, RX7, and Supras, which share the exact engine (from what I remember) that their US counterparts have, can I then register those. I know like with Hondas, their JDM counterparts have slightly different engine codes and therefore good luck getting them registered (like B18c vs B18c1). As far as I know, like in the case of an MKIV Supra Turbo, the 2jzgte engine code is the same here as it is there, and may just need a couple emissions things. I know that it is expensively possible to get any car smogged like people have successfully done with GTRs.

That said I don't like RHD cars which is why I'm sticking with models that were also offered here. If only the sr20det was legal here, sigh.
