How about a $2k Civic beater and a downpayment on a house? Or are you going to be one of those ballers living in an apartment driving a 7 series?

Z4M/Boxster S/Cayman S seem to be the logical options. Elise sounds awesome for a weekend/summer car, though.

I spent near $30K on my '08 Miata plus mods, and would do it again.

For a street car, as opposed to the Miata's track orientation, I'd look @ a 370Z w/ sport pkg. (haven't driven one, just speculating that it's worth a test drive).

before you jump into a bimmer or porsche, check out maintenance... i know an alternator on a boxster costs something like 2k to replace...

+1 for Elise!

[QUOTE=Saki GT,Apr 28 2010, 08:04 PM] I would buy as much Porsche Boxster S as I could. Its the best all-around roadster you can get today, assuming you want a roadster.

I wouldn't buy an old NSX though.

if it had to be a newer car probably a 370z. If it had to be used i would probably be looking at a 02-04 zo6 vette, older 911, or newest boxster i could get for 30k.
