I think that solidifies your comment as:
So your ONE copy and past from a single thread from ONE individual in this forum is your evidence...man, you really are clueless aren't you? Just so you know that's rhetorical and you don't need to answer. I think you're just bitter because you bought your lesser of a car IS350.

How exactly do you simulate track conditions? Also, with this being the Vishnu test car, do you think he would tell everyone about his blown motor and the fact that he runs around town with a near stock piggyback? I'm not saying this has occurred, but to presume that Vishnu has been upfront with all of the issues he's experienced is pretty naive.

I think the N54 is a nice motor and derryck, I know you've said that you're willing to pay to play if something breaks, but I think a lot of people are playing with fire and can't afford to get burned when this $10-20k motor or whatever BMW charges pops due to a poor aftermarket tune.

Just IMHO.

The 335 is better than your IS350 just like the M3 is better than the IS-F and you whining about it isn't going to change that. I like Lexus vehicles especially the IS350 your BMW bashing is laughable.
It completely depends on what your priorities are.

To be perfectly honest this is what I would buy if I was in the market for these types of cars:

If I leased for a term where the vehicle was under factory warranty the whole time:

335i or M3

If I was buying and keeping the car out of warranty:

IS350 or IS-F. No brainer.

I like BMW cars, but I don't trust them long-term.

How is this for the most damning part of BMW that really turns me away in general....why don't you all call BMW and ask them if they are going to do certified pre-owned (i.e. extended 100k warranty) on their M5/M6 and possibly new M3. The answer is a big fat NO. Guess why?
