The car used is Vishnu's test car that has over 25K hard miles many of which were spent doing donuts or simulating track conditions with the car and it has held up fine.
I think the N54 is a nice motor and derryck, I know you've said that you're willing to pay to play if something breaks, but I think a lot of people are playing with fire and can't afford to get burned when this $10-20k motor or whatever BMW charges pops due to a poor aftermarket tune.
Just IMHO.

The 335 is better than your IS350 just like the M3 is better than the IS-F and you whining about it isn't going to change that. I like Lexus vehicles especially the IS350 your BMW bashing is laughable.
To be perfectly honest this is what I would buy if I was in the market for these types of cars:
If I leased for a term where the vehicle was under factory warranty the whole time:
335i or M3
If I was buying and keeping the car out of warranty:
IS350 or IS-F. No brainer.
I like BMW cars, but I don't trust them long-term.
How is this for the most damning part of BMW that really turns me away in general....why don't you all call BMW and ask them if they are going to do certified pre-owned (i.e. extended 100k warranty) on their M5/M6 and possibly new M3. The answer is a big fat NO. Guess why?
